The original purchaser has a period of 30 days to return any purchased items (besides remote controls) for a full refund (less shipping, handling and any restocking fees). All returned items must be new, unused, sealed or in re-sealable condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging it was received. All manufacturer/store warranty literature, instructions manuals, parts and accessories must be included inside the original box in which the item was shipped. In order to protect the original factory packaging from any shipping damages, please place it inside another carton/box when returned. For your protection we may install a security seal on the merchandise which, once removed, will not be accepted for return or exchange.
All warranty issues and defective merchandise must be directed to and handled by Perimeter Security Systems aka PSS. PSS will deal directly with the manufacturer for said defective materials and will return and acquire new replacement parts. If anyone other than Perimeter Security Systems repairs or replaces defective merchandise without using PSS warranty procedures, and without contacting PSS, will jeopardize the warranty process and may void the warranty. Any additional labor costs associated with the replacement of defective materials will be the responsibility of the product owner, and PSS will in no way incur or be responsible for those costs. PSS will cover the cost of shipping for the warranty materials if PSS procedures are followed.
All returned items require an advance Returned Merchandise Authorization Number to be obtained from PSS. Please call PSS Ventura directly to receive an RMA number before you send your purchased items back to PSS. Returns without the correct RMA number will be not be accepted and will be returned to sender at sender’s cost.
When returning an item purchased from www.pssstore.net, the customer returning the item(s) is responsible for all freight costs - to PSS as wells as freight back (freight collect) in the event of return rejection, regardless of the original freight fees. Full acceptance of returned merchandise is final only after a full inspection by PSS. Returned merchandise purchased with free shipping will be billed retroactively at full rate upon acceptance.
In-stock items require a 15% re-stocking fee. Special Order, Out-of-Stock or Bulky items require a 25% re-stocking fee. All returned merchandise must be received by PSS no later than 30 days after the date of purchase, no exceptions.
NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON ANY OPEN BOXES OR USED ITEMS, UNLESS THE PRODUCT IS NOT WORKING AND MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY WILL BE IN EFFECT. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS CONDITION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!
Purchaser has up to 24 hours to cancel any Pick-Up order without being subject to any fees. All Pick Up orders that are cancelled past the 24 hour window are subject to an automatic 10% return/cancellation fee. Any order placed with a credit card will be subject to a cancellation fee based upon the credit carriers processing fees and may be 5% or higher of total order amount. Any orders placed on Will Call and which are not picked up within 5 business days after the date of order will be considered abandoned and will therefore be subject to an automatic 10% return/cancellation fee.
At the discretion of PSS, refunds are issued either by check or credited back to the original account used to charge the merchandise, 14 days after PSS has approved the return.
Most orders are shipped the same or next business day depending upon the time the order was received via UPS Ground. Larger items are shipped by common carrier (trucking company). All shipping charges must be prepaid, no COD.
Customers may receive two or three packages to complete a large order. Multiple deliveries do not require any additional shipping charges.
When large items are shipped by common carrier and should the customer provide incorrect delivery information, a residential delivery surcharge will apply for residential deliveries. This extra charge is the responsibility of the customer and will automatically be charged to customer’s credit card. Also to remember, when common carrier is used, often times the customer is responsible for unloading the items from the truck themselves or are subject to face delivery refusal/surcharges by the freight company.
In the event a customer refuses shipment after it left our warehouse, the customer is responsible for all freight charges to and from the shipping location as well as any restocking fee.
In the event a customer requests to pick up the shipment at a local freight company terminal and the customer does not pick up the shipment, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping both to and from the freight terminal back to PSS, daily storage fees and a restocking fee.
