Product Overview
This heavy duty commercial slide gate operator is equipped with a powerful, quiet, brushless DC motor, which operates on 24 volt DC power.  In addition, this gate operator is built with a long-lasting, 33Ah/24V DC battery backup system that keeps the gate operational when AC power is unavailable.

The BLSL3060 is the first choice for heavy duty commercial slide gate applications because of its many features.  First, this full feature, state-of-the-art operator is built with a high-efficiency, switching power supply, along with a powerful ultra-quiet, high-torque, maintenance-free, brushless DC motor.

The brushless DC motor does not need brushes replaced like conventional DC operators, so it is practically trouble free! Due to these inherent characteristics, the brushless DC motor lasts up to 10 time longer than the conventional brushed DC motor. A brushless DC motor’s typical life expectancy is 10,000 to 20,000 working hours, compared to the conventional DC motor that has a life expectancy between 2,000 to 5,000 working hours.

Battery Backup
The operator is also equipped with a built-in, powerful, 24VDC battery backup system that uses two a 12V,33Ah lead acid batteries.  Normally this provides more than enough power to keep the gate working until the AC Power return.
Operating Conditions

This operator is designed to operate in any climate:

1) It does not require a gearbox or a battery heater to operate in above -20°F.

2) Temperatures -20°F and -40°F require a battery heater, and below -40°F requires a gear box and battery heaters.
Optional Chain Routing

The optional chain routing under the sprocket is for extra chain clearance for non-raised pad mounting.
