Step 1: Open up the back of your current Tricode remote

Step 2: Locate the switch on the far right side

Step 3: Look at the position of the switch. Is it UP, DOWN, or MIDDLE

        UP position replacement is the LINEAR DT-4A

        DOWN position replacement is the Stanley 109710

        MIDDLE position replacement is the Multicode 414001TriCode®
